To test the correct performance under Sail and Power, the model outboard motor needs to be configured to allow remote control trimming . In a full size boat, motor trim is essential for proper performance, and the scale model needs to be able to achieve this. eg This video

2) Have the engineering calculations completed
A lot of work has been done on the structural design of the craft, but more work is needed to ensure proper design. The calculations will need to be available for approval of these yachts as charter boats, and of course to ensure ease of insurability.

3) Have the CAD cutting files completed and test cut
4) CNC cut the Plywood panels
Once the detailed designs have been created in Cad, test patterns will be cut out in 1/3rd scale MDF in preparation for the initial test fittings/ It will be a similar process to the previous project cutting and building two kayaks.

5) Build and Test the Prototype.
The first boat to be built will also be used to prepare the builders manual. This will be a step by step, illustrated instruction set, with accompanying DVD. material usage records, and handy techniques.

6) Publish and market the Plans
The Plans and cutting files will be marketed, and approved builders located in key areas around the world.
